Sales & Business Development Manager UK

Job description

We are searching for a skilled and driven Sales & Business Development Manager, to lead our further commercial growth in Europe. You love being on the ground, building strategic partnerships, actively seek out, engage prospects and influence customers on their digital transformation journey.

Who you are

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and highly skilled and experienced Manager who has the following characteristics and skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years successful sales experience.
  • Working knowledge of BPM, CRM Management Software or enterprise-wide specific solutions within the InsurTech Industry is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable with the product value proposition and speaking to technical and non-technical executives alike.
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent demonstration, presentation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Willingness to travel (30-50% plus), based in UK.
  • Languages Requirements: French, German, Spanish, Dutch-advantage, English-must.

You are a key contributor to the European direct sales operations within the Insurance Market with a key focus to drive increasing market share and license sales revenue for tigerlab through direct touch with prospects, customers and strategic alliances.

  • Your mission will be to apply pipeline generation skills to identify and acquire new customers in small and emerging, medium-sized and large enterprises to help grow and develop our presence in Europe.
  • Build relationships with key influencers, develop business insight into and have informed opinions on future strategies of assigned accounts.
  • Secure and lead face-to-face meetings with business leaders and decision makers including “C” level executives within our target marketplace.
  • Develop, maintain and grow an ongoing sales pipeline.
  • Develop and deploy strategies for securing new accounts.
  • Regularly update activity information and pipeline for management reporting.
  • Serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions.

Python Programmer

About the Job

  • Programmer (preferable with Python skills) who responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.
  • Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
  • You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Programming as a passion, preferably with the knowledge of Python.
  • Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries.
  • Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
  • Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture.
  • Good understanding of server-side templating languages.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
  • Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
  • Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.
  • Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
  • Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
  • Strong unit test and debugging skills.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Git.


  • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic.
  • Implementation of security and data protection.
  • Integration of data storage solutions.

Front End Web Developer

About the Job

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
  • Required language: English
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required skills: JavaScript Typescript CSS Angular
  • Preferably Senior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.

Account Management Intern

Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Accounts Team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this year (between September 2019 and February 2020). Smack in the heart of the fast-paced, dynamic, interactive InsurTech Industry.

The Account Management Intern will be responsible for assisting the Accounts team across multiple client accounts to achieve successful implementation of new product roll outs – delivering on brief, on budget and on time.


  • Act as the main point of contact on key accounts, juggling various client requests from product roll outs, to optimization as well as general queries.
  • Help develop client relationships and grow existing accounts.
  • Understand and communicate customer quality and business requirements.
  • Monitoring client’s product.
  • Actively stay ahead of trends and adapt to new and changing social platforms and products.
  • Attend and contribute to brainstorming / ideation sessions.


  • Currently enrolled in a University (Preferably Business Administration or similar).
  • Microsoft Office software suite experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Availability to commit to a 6-month program beginning in September 2019.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills.
